I kind of feel like I’m playing hooky with my two WIPs at the moment, but I’m having too much fun to quit >.>

I just posted my first reader!fic, Unravelling Aymeric, which is basically an excuse for me to write the tentacle dick porn of my dreams while dressing it up in a flimsy (but delicious!) coating of FFXIV. I’m also currently midway through posting some original rapekink on meme, most of which I wrote ages ago, so it technically doesn’t count as me ~abandoning my WIP responsibilities?? At least unless I end up writing some new material rather than sprucing up + editing the old stuff.

All that said, I’m still working on Rin-Rin, so fear not. The first non-Rin chapter proved to be longer than I’d expected, but it’s almost done, and once I’ve finished it, the next two chapters should come along fairly smoothly. I’m hoping to be able to post all three and finish the fic in one go, but if not, I should have the next chapter out by the end of the month.

Speaking of the month, it’s the Merry Month of Masturbation!!! And even though I definitely won’t have time to honour this glorious month as should be done, I’m still going to post something that should slot very neatly into the theme. It’ll be more ItaSasu, of course, to serve as a side dish to the Itachi time travel fic I definitely haven’t forgotten (I promise, lol), as well as whatever Naruto WIP I feel like posting next.

Somehow managed to finally (finally!) post fragrant, the Itachi/fem!Naruto sort-of-sequel to redolent that I’ve been promising for ages. One more fic will finish the series, one likely from Itachi’s POV. Maybe with an actual heat?? And Naruto being bratty and clingy?

Anyway, I also posted some other fic in between now and the last post. Handy list for your delectation:

  • Case 54931’s final chapter went up! Happy pregnancy to Sasuke!!
  • five out of ten, original M/M where a dirty bet backfires on a stubborn young man
  • pressed against her, original F/M where a filthy minded young man guiltily masturbates to his rapey thoughts about a coworker
  • anticipation, original F/F where a young woman indulges in the sweet torment of her partner’s wicked attentions

I doubt I’ll be able to finish the next couple chapters of Rin-Rin in time to post them by the end of this month, so what will go up instead will probably be some more original fic from my cavernous backlog. My plan is to finish Rin-Rin, then turn my attention back to Seven Turns while I figure out what new (ish) projects to add onto my plate.

Basically, just imagine my brain went on a much needed holiday for a month (i.e. the last time I posted fic), one that somehow meant I actually now can update this blog more or less on schedule again []~(￣▽￣)~*

Still going to try to continue to be chill and not guilt myself over not updating everything perfectly in order or on schedule, which is something I spend too much time thinking about, lol. So here’s the current state of all my active WIPs:

  • Rin-Rin: halfway through the next chapter, slow going because I thought the current arc was ending but it maybe isn’t.
  • Case 54931: halfway through the next chapter
  • Seven Turns: chapter lengths for this are really weird to pin down, but I know I’m just at the beginning of the current arc.

Who gets the next update? Who knows /o\. But an update is definitely coming ;D

impromptu break over~

So apparently I needed a break more than I wanted to admit. Consequence: finally finished Karaoke Heavens! I’ve already begun posting the chapter halves on meme as usual, and should have the whole thing edited and posted by the end of next week. Have also posted Jiong’s extra here on AO3.

Have stalled on Rin-Rin but oh well. Just gonna relax and work on other shit while I get back into the mood.

I’ll be updating this blog a little less often because omg it’s starting to be a pain? And not a fun one at all?? Most of what I’ve ended up posting here has been like, ‘hey, I updated’ or ‘aw, I’m not done writing yet’, and only the latter really needs to be here. Most of the places I post fiction have subscription features, and so I’m going to pull back on fic update news unless it’s about more than just ‘here’s a new chapter’.

So I updated Unconventional instructor today. Which, yay! Awesome!! And then I worked a bit more on what I now know is the last chapter, and now it’s all done!!!!

Not going to post it for a couple days, for edits and because idk, I might add more to it? But Itachi’s journey definitely ends here. Well, this Itachi’s story does. I’ve got a couple fics on the back burner that have a focus on him, one a vaguely edifying time-travel one (because I will never ever stop writing time travel fic), and one… not.

Will probably start posting snippets on meme from both fics very soon ;D

I’m just writing a lot! And enjoying a random vacation as well, I guess?

Anyway, here’s Unconventional adulterer, a snippet in the Unconventional verse, because why don’t you want to read the dirty details of what Itachi got down to with Yuri’s official lover, the thirsty, yet strangely naive Takehiko-san.

Re other stuff I am working on, oh my GOD but I’m having some annoying issues with both Unconventional instructor part 5 (it turned into two frigging chapters. AGAIN.) and the next Rin-Rin (tricky rewrite went well. Too well. Not sure where to split the chapter anymore 😅😅😅😅).

As for Karaoke Heavens, I think I’ve made peace with the fact that I’m not ending that as soon as I thought I would. It’s a strange mix of my having too much fun still playing with that particular set of dolls, and having dumb anxiety over whether I’m doing it ‘right’ or whatever.

Also I think I was too productive during the first half of the year or something, because now that I’ve slowed down a bit I’m freaking out!! Because omg no chapter backlog means I’m DOOMED (or something). Somehow I will get over all of this _(:3 」∠)_
